                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VARIOUS STREETS IN THE DOWNTOWN
                   AREA, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON
                   FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 1993 THROUGH SUNDAY, MAY
                   2, 1993 FOR THE "1993 TENNESSEE AQUARIUM
                   ANNIVERSARY" UNDER THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE
                   TENNESSEE AQUARIUM.
                  
                   
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Riverfront Parkway between South River 
Street
       and Chestnut Street, Riverside Drive between Chestnut Street and
       the Mabel Street ramp, Chestnut Street between 3rd Street and
       Riverside Drive, and 2nd Street between Broad Street and Chestnut 

       Street from 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 1993 until 5:00 a.m.
       Sunday, May 2, 1993 and the temporary closing of the Market 
Street
       Bridge between Frazier Avenue and 1st Street beginning at 5:00
       p.m. Saturday, May 1, 1993 to 1:00 a.m. Sunday, May 2, 1993 for
       the "1993 Tennessee Aquarium Anniversary" under the sponsorship 
of
       the Tennessee Aquarium.  The sponsors are responsible for the
       installation and removal of all traffic control devices (such as
       cones, barricades, signs, etc.) in accordance with the traffic
       control plan attached hereto and shall provide at all times an
       access lane for emergency vehicles.
